Carolinas Client Connection 2022 is heading to Raleigh, NC on Wednesday August 31st and Rock Hill, SC on Thursday September 1st. Our Traveling Client Friendly Showcase gives you the opportunity to access the industry's top suppliers and latest promotional products near you.
Distributors will have the opportunity to invite their clients to walk the show floor in both locations while educating their clients about new products, exchanging ideas for the gifting season and building a stronger relationship.

Virtual Meetings |

PPAI’s Legislative Education and Action Day (L.E.A.D.) returned last week, connecting industry pros with lawmakers and their staffs on Capitol Hill for two days of virtual meetings. After 10 years of in-person events in Washington, D.C., the annual series of in-person meetings—intended to inform and educate legislators about legislation and issues affecting the promotional products industry—was suspended in 2020 because of the pandemic. It resumed last year in a virtual format.
Running June 8-9, L.E.A.D. 2022 brought 37 industry participants together in 67 meetings with senators, representatives and their offices. Dozens of their peers and colleagues from across the country lent their voices to the conversation through calls and emails to their members of Congress in L.E.A.D. participants came equipped to address several issues important to the $22 billion promotional products market in their meetings. These included:

The CAAMP advisory committee met with Senators, Representatives and staff of the following Carolinas office’s Tim Scott, Joe Wilson, Tom Rice and Alma Adams.

PPAI 2022 Woman's Leadership Conference held in Charlotte.

PPAI Women’s Leadership Conference (WLC) was held July 27th – 29th. Charlotte played host to the event’s return. 120 leading industry women were in attendance including CAAMP members Renee Jones MAS+, A Creative Touch, Natasha Beard, Alphabroder, Janet McMaster MAS,
Geiger and Lisa Parker MAS, American Ad Bag.
WLC is the industry’s premier event for professional women who share a common vision for achieving success. The three-day event featured live education sessions from a range of experts and numerous opportunities to network and connect.
The WLC began with community service in the host city, then a welcome reception for first-time attendees and an opening dinner celebrating the 2022 Woman of Achievement recipient. STARLINE WELCOMES NEW SOUTHEAST REGIONAL MANAGER MICHELLE SHERWIN, MAS

Starline is excited to announce the addition of Michelle Sherwin, MAS, as the new Southeast Regional Manager covering AL, AR, FL, GA, MS, NC, SC, and TN.
Michelle comes to Starline with a wealth of experience and relationships, and a ton of energy! Her 30-year career began as a promotional product buyer for Suntrust Bank’s Marketing Team. From there, she worked for 21 years as a distributor/owner of an Adventures in Advertising franchise and as a sales rep for Brown & Bigelow. Her supplier experience started with Vantage Apparel and now continues with Starline. Michelle served on the GAPPP Regional Board for 10 years and currently serves on the PPAI / Regional Association Committee. Her passion and enthusiasm for this industry is evident and her desire to engage, enlighten and educate is felt by her clients.
